I Peter 4: 10 - 11  "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.  Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord."


WMU would like to thank everyone who has had a part in our many missions emphasis by sharing with their time, talents and monetary gifts.


So many opportunities to serve and touch lives of those in our community and overseas.  Thanks to our Lord and Savior and to the loving support of our church family, the WMU was able to provied the Hubbard community with the following:

  • Fellowship Meal                    Usually held on the second Monday of the month,                                                    dates may vary due to other obligations of the                                                          church.
  • Easter Food Baskets              Provides the food for Easter dinner and "sweets"                                                       bags for some.
  • Groceries forChildren :           Is our Summer food program for June, July and                                                         August, where we provide some groceries for                                                           children.
  • Christmas in August :             Provides children with clothes to start the school                                                       year.
  • Thanksgiving Food Baskets:   Provides the food for the Thanksgiving dinner                                                           and "sweets" bags for some.
  • Christams Food Baskets:        Provides the food for the Christmas dinner, and                                                       "sweets" bags for some. 
  • Thinking of You and Birthday cards:  Are sent to many who may need a                                                                  pick me up and those who have birthdays during                                                      that specific month. If anyone knows of someone                                                      who we could be a blessing to by sending them a                                                      card, please let us know.

Through the grace of Gad, we look forward to another year full of opportunities to be a blessing to our community.  If you are aware of anyone needing help with meals, or would like to be added to the list to receive greeeting cards, please notify Donna Crain.


As always, we welcome all who would like to volunteer with WMU and serve the Lord.  Again, "Thank You" for your generous donations and considerate support.  Our monthly meetings is held the third Sunday after church.
